Living The Values Awards 2022

23 June 2022

Team ACE – Living our values, growing our business.

The team at Ace Express Freight have recently celebrated their 5th annual Living the Values Awards in style at Roganstown Hotel and Country Club, North County Dublin.

These prestigious staff awards have been a key fixture in the company calendar for the past 5 years, but 2022 marked the return to a physical award ceremony and this year it was bigger and better than ever before, with an opulent gala dinner and a very lively evening of entertainment for all of Team ACE!

The awards are designed to recognise and reward staff members who have ‘lived the values’ through their hard work and dedication to their customers and team mates throughout the year. The 5 staff values and 5 company values were selected by the team themselves, and now form the core pillars of the company’s continuous improvement and growth strategy.

The Living the Values Awards are particularly special because the nominees are suggested by the staff and the winners are selected by fellow team members and management voting for the most deserving candidates.  Everyone is invited to leave a very nice comment and feedback to justify each vote, creating a climate of collaboration and mutual appreciation among the whole team.

In addition to the 10 The Living the Values Awards, the company also presented gold corporate pins, to recognise years of service and loyalty to the company and customers.  6 staff were presented with 15-year pins, 4 staff received 10-year pins and 2 staff received 5-year pins. We thank you for your dedicated service.

The most heartfelt award of the evening, however, went to Mark Tracey, Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Ace Express Freight. Mark celebrates his retirement from the company after 29 years at the right hand of his brother, Philip Tracey, working together to grow the business from humble beginnings to become one of the leading family owned Freight and Logistics companies in Ireland.

Mark will be dearly missed by all staff and customer alike, and we would like to take this opportunity to wish him the very best of health and happiness for a long and relaxing retirement!  You’ve earned it Mark!
