Urgent POS deliveries for Primark France Reopening.

The Problem:  

• Extremely short lead times for print run of essential POS material and delivery to their end customer, Primark France stores.  
• Print run delayed pushing collection time to Saturday morning. 
• Delivery required to all Primark France stores by Tuesday Am. 
• All deliveries needed tail lift and quick return of PODS.  

Our Solution:

• Communication and partnership was key to completing these deliveries on time and in full.
• Regular contact between dispatch and export planners ensured a suitable solution was devised and implemented.  
• Ace Express dispatched a number of Luton vans for collection in McGowans Saturday morning.  All were loaded based on planned routes to ensure on time delivery to stores throughout France.  
• Vans travelled Saturday and Sunday, and available for first drops Monday am and continued on route with final deliveries completed Tuesday am. 
• Smart technology available to the driver ensured PODs could be uploaded on the system for viewing by the customer. 

Results:

• Swift planning and communication ensure McGowans could commit to order with very tight timelines. 
• Communications ensured the planned solution was effected. 
• Smart in vehicle technology ensured swift update of tracking and proof of delivery available for the customer.
