Data Protection Statement

Ace Express Freight respects and values the privacy of those who provide their personal data to us. Ace Express Freight may use personal data to contact parties with a legitimate interest in our products or services. We comply with applicable EU and Irish data privacy legislation with regards to the processing personal data. This privacy statement sets out our approach to how data is used.

Any person in receipt of mails from the Ace Express Freight mailing list will have the option to ‘OPT-OUT’. A link at the end of the mail will allow the recipient to be removed from our contact list. We do not share, sell, trade or lease the personal data which we receive.

We sometimes work with and on behalf of other organisations and companies to deliver freight and logistics services to our customers. We only share the minimum information required to effectively process shipments and strict agreements are in place with our partners to limit the use of personal data which is shared for this purpose. 

We process personal data submitted as part of a job application — including CVs, employment history, qualifications, references and salary information — for the purpose of assessing a candidate’s suitability for employment. Our lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interest, specifically the operation of an effective recruitment process and the evaluation of candidates for current and future roles.

Personal data provided during the recruitment process is retained for 24 months from the date of application, after which it is securely deleted unless the individual consents to a longer retention period, or becomes an employee of the company.

Recruitment data is not shared externally and is accessed only by authorised personnel involved in our hiring processes. We do not disclose candidate information to third parties unless legally required to do so.

Access to data: The individual has the right to request us to share with them the data which we retain in respect of themselves and the right to have this data deleted. Should you wish to receive your personal data please contact us on, salessupport@ace-express.com

IT Security: All information shall be kept absolutely secure and confidential behind a firewall and protected systems. Our IT systems is in compliance with the GDPR, and the confidentiality / security of data is also assured from an IT architecture point of view. We can also certify that no data will ever be stored outside the EU. 

We reserve the right to adapt or amend our privacy statement and all changes will be notified via our website.
